For Immediate Release:

San Francisco, California: Gumbo Social is bringing back one of its biggest summer traditions with the 6th Annual All-You-Can-Eat Seafood Boil. Spend the afternoon eating and celebrating community as well as the birthday of Chef-Owner Dontaye Ball, better known as Mr. Gumbo.

Presented in partnership with Sunday Streets Bayview, this year's celebration will feature an all-you-can-eat seafood boil and Bayview hospitality.

“At this point, the decision to host the Seafood Boil isn't really mine anymore. Our community, our Social Family, asks about it all year long. They expect it, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I believe my purpose is to serve people, and I don't want to disappoint the people who have made this tradition their own,” says Dontaye.

For groups looking to make a day of it, Party Packs are available for groups of 4, 10, or 20. Party Packs include admission but do not include reserved seating.

“The Seafood Boil is also an opportunity to show off our neighborhood, which I think is one of San Francisco's hidden gems. Bayview has been misunderstood for a long time, but the people who spend a day here discover something different: great weather, incredible food, local businesses, rich cultural history, and a community that genuinely welcomes you. Partnering with Sunday Streets allows us to open our celebration to the entire community, creating a space where neighbors and visitors alike can gather, share a meal, and experience the best of Bayview,” says Dontaye.

Sunday Streets Block Party!

Everyone is welcome! Gumbo Social's 6th Annual All-You-Can-Eat Seafood Boil is part of Sunday Streets Bayview, a free community celebration transforming Third Street into a vibrant public gathering space from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Enjoy the energy of Sunday Streets with neighborhood activations, Let's EAT BBQ (Blues & BBQ with a live band), Gratta Wines' Foot Crush (Pigeage Winemaking), a KIDS ZONE sponsored by Bayview YMCA, and more throughout the corridor. No ticket is required to experience Sunday Streets.
